An Announcement from the Executive Director of Paws4ever, Whitney Zoghby

Dear Paws4ever Friends and Supporters,

It is with mixed emotions that I share my upcoming departure from Paws4ever. Due to my husband’s job relocation, our family will be moving to Georgia, and I will be stepping down from my role in early June.

The past four and a half years have been the most meaningful of my career. It has been a true privilege to lead an organization with such a rich history and deep impact in the community.

I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to connect with so many of you—our dedicated volunteers, generous donors, and steadfast supporters. You are the heart of Paws4ever, not only sustaining our day-to-day work but also stepping up time and again in moments of urgent need and during exciting new initiatives. Your commitment is what makes this organization so special.

I am equally thankful for our extraordinary staff, whose compassion, dedication, and love for animals and the people who care for them make Paws4ever a truly remarkable place each day. It has been an honor to work alongside such a passionate and talented team.

To our Board of Directors, thank you for your guidance, partnership, and unwavering support. Your leadership has been instrumental in shaping the organization’s success and will continue to be invaluable in the future.

Following a thoughtful and thorough search process, the Board has selected a new Executive Director, Angela Wacker. Angela brings both local roots and valuable experience in animal welfare and nonprofit leadership, and I am confident in her ability to lead Paws4ever into its next chapter. Angela will be in attendance at our Wags & Whiskers Celebration, so feel free to introduce yourself to her if you’re attending. I will remain in my role through early June to support a smooth and successful transition.

Thank you for your trust, support, and belief in Paws4ever during my time here. It has truly been an honor to serve this community. I look forward to seeing all that Paws4ever will continue to accomplish in the years ahead.

With gratitude,

Whitney Zoghby
Executive Director
