Join us for a spook-tacular evening of family fun at our Halloween Trunk or Treat! Kids (and pups!) can trick-or-treat from decorated trunks, enjoy family activities including pumpkin painting, Halloween games, a spooky bake sale, face painting, treats for both kids AND pups, and more! Bring the whole family (especially your four-legged friends) for a night filled with costumes, candy, and community fun.
While you’re here, meet our adoptable dogs and cats who are looking for a forever home! Every wag, purr, and painted pumpkin helps support the pets in our care. All proceeds from this event benefit our mission to give rescue cats and dogs the second chance they deserve.
Costumes are encouraged (for kids and pups), and this event is designed for children and dogs to have a safe and fun Halloween celebration while also helping rescue pets find their happily ever after!
Adoption fees for all pets are SPONSORED ($0) in OCTOBER!
Family Fun & Activities:
- Visit all 15+ trunks on campus to fill your basket with candy
- Paint your own mini-pumpkins
- “Adopt a Stuffed Animal” Station
- Get your face painted
- Festive bake sale (people AND pet goodies)
- Enter to win special kid-themed and pet-themed raffle baskets
- Take a tour through our Adoption Center and meet adoptable dogs and cats
- Strike a pose in your costume at our professional photo booth
- Enjoy Halloween, coloring, crafts, and more
Register Your Trunk:
Want to be part of the fun? Register your trunk and join in the Halloween magic! Decorate your car in your spookiest, silliest, or most creative theme and hand out candy to the trick-or-treaters (both two-legged and four-legged!). Not only will you be making the night unforgettable for families and pups, but you’ll also have a chance to win the 2025 Best Trunk award and a special prize. Don’t miss your chance to show off your creativity and support both kids and adoptable pets at the same time!
When you register your trunk, you’ll also be entered into our voting contest for the 2025 Best Trunk award! Guests will be able to purchase tickets and use them to vote for their favorite trunk display. The trunk with the most tickets at the end of the night will win a special prize! Not only is this a fun way to get creative with your trunks, but every ticket purchased goes right back to supporting our adoptable pets. Bring your friends and family (every ticket matters!), spread some spooky cheer, and “woo” the crowd to gain votes!
