Dog Body Language and Communication
Learn about Dog Body Language and Communication
It’s quite fascinating to observe how a dog communicates using specific body language. Most dogs indicate their comfort and discomfort levels quite clearly. If we humans learn more about what normal and healthy dog communication and dog-dog interactions look like, that knowledge can be used to create and maintain a cooperative relationship and safer environment. As dog interactions are dynamic, it’s essential for us to observe objectively and know when and how to intervene, and when not to intervene. Please become familiar with some of the basic dog communication signals presented in these three short video clips we’ve linked for you here. They are listed in order of basic to advanced so that you can build your understanding gradually. Your dogs will thank you for understanding them better!
