Piper is truly an amazing cat. Sure, she has the required fondness for chasing yarn balls and making biscuits. But beneath her gremlin-esque exterior (think oversized ears, wide, curious eyes, and a perpetually mischievous grin) resides the soul of a “Fairy Catmother.” When she was younger, Piper reigned supreme. Lost kittens found solace in her soft fur, wayward teenage cats learned hunting techniques under her tutelage, and even the grumpiest of tomcats softened their growls under her gentle, knowing gaze. She was the Fairy Catmother of Felines, a legend whispered through whiskers and meows.
One starlit night, while escorting a particularly rambunctious litter of kittens across a moonlit highway, a rogue gust of wind-swept Piper off her tiny paws. She tumbled through the celestial airways, a dizzying blur of fur and flickering stars, until she landed with a soft plop outside Paws4ever.
